This attractive old tank sits by the depot in Parksville,
BC. By railway standards it is a fairly small 20,000
gallon tank but it will seem huge when compared to the
typical tiny plastic water tank models that are
available.
The E&N tank can be used in other scales too,
representing a 15,000 gal tank
in 1:20.3 scale, a 24,000 gal tank in 1:24,a 42,000 gal
tank in 1:29 and a 57,000 gal tank in 1:32 scale.
If you are working in other scales though, be sure to
check the height of the water spout against the height
of your engine tender and alter the length of the base
posts to suit if necessary. |
