   METHOD:
  1. Mix Black Rock Cider 1.7kg kit with the brewblends, lactose and corn syrups, (depending on recipe) with 2L of very hot water.
  2. Stir to dissolve then add 10L of cold water.
  3. Top to a total volume of 18L
  4. Add the yeast and make the cider as directed on the can.
  5. After fermentation, if the recipe calls for a schnapps essence at the end of fermentation, gentle stir and wait for an additional 24 hours before bottling
  6. Depending on recipe, final Specific Gravity (SG) will be about 1.005 - 1.010...note: increase in malt, lactose and corn syrup in the recipe will result in a high original SG and Final SG

If you are going to Rack your cider then add the essence at this time.

You can make the cider to 21L or 23L if you like.

    Cheers...Les
